Templates

Pre-built campaign setups for common event scenarios.

When you create a campaign, the first step is picking a template. Templates are quick-start presets that pre-configure the campaign form so you can get started faster. Every setting can still be changed manually after selecting a template.

Warning
The campaign configuration (ada, tokens, NFTs) cannot be changed after creation. Choose your template carefully.

Available templates

NFT Mint

Enables on-demand NFT minting. Each claim mints a unique, sequentially numbered NFT. A name prefix and image are required. Since NFT minting policies are time-locked, the campaign must have an expiry date.

Token Airdrop

Enables the token section so you can select one or more fungible tokens to include in each claim. The ada amount defaults to 0 since the protocol-required min UTxO (1.5 ada) is always included automatically.

Full Bundle

Enables both the token and NFT sections. Use this for campaigns that send fungible tokens and mint a unique NFT in the same claim. All options from both sections are available.

Just ada

The default. Sends a fixed amount of ada per claim. Good for onboarding newcomers who need their first ada to start using Cardano. The token and NFT sections are disabled.

What templates change

Selecting a template does the following:

  • Toggles the token and NFT sections on or off
  • Adjusts the ada field label and minimum (standalone ada vs. bonus ada on top of min UTxO)
  • Pre-fills the campaign name, description, and code prefix with random suggestions
  • For NFT templates, pre-fills the NFT name prefix

You can switch templates at any time before submitting. Fields you have manually edited will not be overwritten when switching.

Customizing after selection

Templates are just a starting point. After selecting one, you can toggle individual sections on or off, change every field, and combine features however you like. For example, you could start with "Just ada" and then manually enable the token section to add tokens.
