Claimpaign supports two Cardano networks. You choose the network when creating a campaign.
Preprod
The Cardano pre-production testnet. Uses free test ada that has no real value. Use preprod to:
- Test your campaign setup and QR code flow
- Verify wallet compatibility
- Run demos without spending real ada
- Train your team on the platform
You can get free test ada from the Cardano Testnet Faucet. We recommend VESPR for testing since it lets you easily switch between preprod and mainnet. See Compatible Wallets for all supported wallets.
Mainnet
The production Cardano network. Uses real ada and real tokens with actual value. Mainnet campaigns require completed business details (company name, address, VAT ID) before you can create them.

Campaigns cannot be moved between networks after creation. If you tested on preprod and want to go live, create a new campaign on mainnet.
