Claimpaign has two modes: Sandbox and Production. You switch between them globally in Settings > Profile. All campaigns, credits, and balances are scoped to the active mode.
Sandbox
The sandbox runs on Cardano's pre-production testnet (preprod). It uses free test ada that has no real value. Use the sandbox to:
- Test your campaign setup and QR code flow
- Verify wallet compatibility
- Run demos without spending real ada
- Train your team on the platform
When Sandbox mode is active, a yellow SANDBOX MODE banner is shown at the top of every page.
Production
Production runs on the Cardano mainnet. It uses real ada and real tokens with actual value. To unlock Production mode, complete your business details (company name, address, VAT ID) under Settings > Business Details.
Switching modes
Go to Settings > Profile and use the Sandbox/Production toggle. The switch is instant. Your campaigns and credit balance are separate per mode, so switching does not affect existing campaigns.
